A Day at the Park

Here's Sierra in the Boise river at Anne Morrison Park. This is my favorite park in Boise because it has everything a park should have... a huge playground (with swings), a gigantic fountain the kids and adults can play in and it's right next to the river. Sierra likes it too.
Sierra made a new friend and she followed her around most of the time we were there.

She had a blast manuevering in and out of the rail bars and splashing in the water.
Then we hit the swings, of course. If Sierra was posting right now I'm sure she would say that the swings are the best part of the park. It doesn't matter how sunny and hot it is (like today at 103 degrees outside).
After the swings we headed to the fountain. Sierra likes for me to hold her and run around the fountain with her, so in order to get photos she insisted on the safety of her stroller.
She's just not sure about the water spraying her. Sometimes she smiles and laughs and sometimes she gets upset. I don't think that she even knows how she truly feels.
Well, after that long, hot day, Sierra went to bed at 7pm and mommy got some well-deserved alone time.

What fun! IF we ever come to visit, you'll have to take us there.
